BEVERLEY SUTHERLAND-SMITH'S COOKING SCHOOL
Beverley, a passionate cook and teacher, has been operating her cooking school since 1967. You will be welcomed with tea or coffee and homemade biscuits or cake on arrival. Classes are small, the atmosphere is warm and friendly and a copy of all recipes is handed out. Demonstrations cover many options for cooking from easy and simple food to more elaborate dishes. Hints and techniques are given, generous tastings, interesting wines, and the opportunity to wander in "The Edible Garden". As the cooking school has been operating now for forty years, we shall have some special nostalgic lessons among the new ones and a dinner later this year to celebrate. We would love to see some of our regular and very special clients again.

Our cooking school archive is only accessible by VIP members who are past clients of Beverley's. Those that have a VIP Login can access many extra facilities that are only viewable once you have logged in. In the VIP area we have many cooking tips & tricks, new recipes, golden old recipes, special offers and discounts on most products in the cooking shop.

THE EDIBLE GARDEN
"The Edible Garden" is a part of the Australian Open Garden Scheme and is situated at 29 Regent Street Mount Waverley. The emphasis is on growing herbs, vegetables and flowers in a mix of colour, perfume and visual effects. A passionate cook, renowned author of more than 27 cooking books, and cooking school demonstrator, Beverley offers seasonal lunches, morning or afternoon tea in conjunction with a private conducted tour of the garden. These are proving popular for birthdays, special anniversaries, kitchen teas, and corporate functions as a refreshing and intimate alternative to a restaurant dining experience.

CATERING
Small intimate occasions or larger functions, private or corporate, we offer personal and individual menus created especially for each client. We make everything ourselves so can guarantee the freshest and best seasonal food and will organise your function so you are left free of any stress for your special occasion. We don t have standard packages but can tailor any function to suit your budget and taste, paying close attention to all details. Our staff are experienced and caring and we are known for generous, fresh menus, presented beautifully.
