WELCOME We are in all things food related from cooking school to catering, food writing and food styling with gardens growing our own produce.
As one of the longest established cooking schools in Australia, The Beverley Sutherland-Smith Cooking School, run by cooking personality Beverley Sutherland-Smith herself, is one of the Australia's leading cooking schools. Beverley, a passionate cook and teacher, has been operating her cooking school since 1967. She has published over 27 cookbooks, and has appeared in many mass-distrubted publications such as The Age, The Sun Herald, The Weekly Times, New Idea, among many others.
COOKING SCHOOL & CLASSES Beverley's cooking school has been attended by 1000's of people throughout the 40-odd years of operation. Situated in a warm and happy environmet at Beverley's estate, you will feel at ease and ready to cook when you enter the kitchen! Beverley's classes are designed for everyone - fun and informative, the classes include both traditionl and modern cooking techniques. Small and intimate they feature both demonstration and participation lessons.
Christmas In July Saturday 25th July, 2009 at 7.30pm Always popular with a four course menu combining special Christmas classics with a modern twist. You can bring your own wines if you wish, there is no corkage and we shall serve a complimientary Christmas cocktail first along with finger food on arrival. For more information see Cooking Classes.

CATERING Our catering doesn't just offer standard packages, but each client receives individual attention which we believe they deserve.

THE EDIBLE GARDEN The gardens surround the school and feature all manner of unusual herbs, vegetables and flowers. Our clients are free to wander through these and private garden visits can be organised for groups.

In the past, restauranters have also called on Beverley to create new and fresh menus. Our food consultancy service will give you the ideas and know-how to run a perfect event or create a brilliantly diverse menu.
